Terms of Service.

1. The Service

Trainarobot.co is a marketplace where contributors upload first-person (POV/egocentric) work videos for use in artificial intelligence and robotics training, and where companies may browse content, inquire about clips, or post missions.

The Service includes public pages and authenticated areas. Certain features require an account.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must create an account to upload content, access the video catalog, manage payouts, or use account features.

The Service is intended for individuals. Business or organizational accounts are not supported at this time.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or applicable law.

3. User Content

3.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you upload, including videos and associated metadata ("User Content").

3.2 License to August Digital

By uploading User Content, you grant August Digital Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to:

• host, store, process, stream, display, and distribute the User Content;
• use the User Content for AI and robotics training, evaluation, and development;
• market, promote, and present the User Content to prospective buyers or partners;
• license the User Content for commercial AI and robotics use.

This license survives removal or account termination for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of removal request or account closure.

3.3 Content Removal

There is no self-service deletion.

Users may request removal via the "Request Removal" flow.

We may remove content periodically or at our discretion.

4. Content Guidelines & Prohibited Use

You agree not to upload content that:

• contains identifiable faces or private personal information;
• includes children or minors;
• depicts illegal, dangerous, or unsafe activities;
• includes watermarks, heavy filters, or non-POV footage;
• infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.

We reserve the right to remove content that does not meet quality, safety, or platform guidelines.

5. AI & Data Usage

User Content is explicitly intended for AI and robotics training and related commercial uses. Opt-out from AI usage is not supported.

You acknowledge that:

• content may be accessed by buyers and partners;
• content may be processed and licensed commercially;
• anonymization is not guaranteed, and contributors are responsible for complying with content guidelines.

6. Payments & Payouts

Payments and payouts are processed via Stripe Connect.

August may take a percentage of transactions as a marketplace fee.

Payouts are typically issued weekly, subject to Stripe processing, compliance checks, and platform policies.

We reserve the right to delay or withhold payouts in cases of fraud, policy violations, or legal requirements.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, branding, design, and software are owned by August Digital Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, or suitability for any purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, August Digital Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid to you (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless August Digital Inc. from claims arising out of:

• your content;
• your use of the Service;
• your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
